A Long Overdue Update & Cute Kitten Pics!

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted any kind of updates. For the past few years I really wasn’t super active with my shop due to personal reasons. Now I’m back and busier than ever! Many a kitty and puppy have been receiving gifts since their humans have been home under quarantine. 😉

This site is very out of date and I will be updating it over the next while and adding the new toys, masks, etc I’ve had available on my social media. It’ll take awhile and you’ll see some changes.

Okay, now onto why you’re really reading this…

Cute Kitten Pics!!!

Last night on Facebook I promised I’d share a series of pics I received this week of a kitten named Leroy playing with a bunch of toys his daddy got from me. He likes them all but his dad says the Zombie Head is his favourite. He plays soccer with it daily. 🙂

Please Note: Zombie Heads have not yet been posted online but are available upon request. They have a bell in the missing eye and were a big hit at last years ComicCon Holiday Edition. Word of mouth is how Leroy ended up with one.

Okay now here’s Leroy!

Abbie’s New Winter Hat

I received some pictures today of a happy pawstomer modelling her new winter hat. Her mom saw one of the dino hats I make and asked if I could make something like it for Abbie to keep her little ears warm in the winter. Overall I like it and thinks she looks adorable in it.

This will keep me toasty.

Happy New Year From DRC

Happy New Year from the gang at the DRC Workshop!

For this coming year I already have new toy designs in the works for both cats and dogs, but the really exciting thing I have planned are pet clothes. I’ve decided to try making different types of pet clothes and if they work out I’ll make them available. I made Emma a pair of pajamas for Christmas and she LOVES them. So far I’m happy with them and she looks super cute in them.

I am going to do a few more pairs for her and then try another size. I should probably have them up for sale by the end of January , if not before.

Santa Paws Helping Stray Cats

Santa Paws Caturday

Santa Paws is now done his yearly visit to the good dogs and cats of the world, and things are slowing down some here at the DRC Workshop. This season the Santa Paws for a Good Cause promotion was rather popular. All together we raised $55 CAD for the Ottawa Stray Cat Rescue!

It went over well enough that I’ve decided to make the Santa Paws stockings a permanently available item on my Etsy Shop. So now we can help stray cats all year long!

Caturday Has Gone to the Dinosaurs at DRC!!

Happy Caturday everyone! I’ve got some more cute cats in hats pictures to share. Recently Georgie and Cyril received a dino hat from their mom made by me. Of course I asked for pictures!

Shark Attack at DRC!!!!

Some of you may remember Marshall and Mitchell, the Christmas Elf Hat kittens…

Well they’re back sharing their Halloween hats I made for them and brought their canine brother Gunther along for the fun! Having never attempted hats like these it was a fun learning experience, and I think they turned out rather well.

But they’re so much cuter when modeled so enough chat….

Winter Is Coming…

And House Roba is ready!

It’s that time of year where here in Canada we like to start bundling up in sweaters to fight off the chill. So why not get your furry companion a cozy sweater as well? Here at House Roba we make custom size sweaters in a variety of styles starting at $20 CAD.

If you would like a sweater for your furry companion fire us a message and we’ll discuss what the perfect sweater for them would be.

Another Alien Facehugger Sighting

Today I was tagged in a post on Instagram about Etsy finds. Turns out it was a happy pawstomer and her Alien Facehugger from the DRC Workshop.

Here’s what Stella the Scottishfold had to say;

“Being huge Alien fans, the humans are a bit too excited for the new @alienanthology movie… they got me a “face hugger” cat nip knit toy from @delrobacreations

They’re nerds… 🤓

From the pics I think it’s safe to say she likes it. 😉

Galactic Empire Beware

Puppers have joined the Rebellion and are wrecking havoc on the fleet!

I just received a video of a dog named Chewbarka who was just given the first Squeaky Tie Fighter Toy I made. I think the test run went well!

‘He’s so happy with it. It’s beyond adorable. I’ve never seen him go this nuts over a toy. He’s a happy little dude’ – Chewie’s Mom

Space Explorer Cat Discovers Alien Life

Today I was tagged in a post on Instagram about Etsy finds. Turns out it was a happy pawstomer and his Alien Facehugger from the DRC Workshop.

Here’s an excerpt from the space adventurers log at sashimigradephotos ;

Log journal entry 1 [dictated]: I’ve been sent on an exploratory mission to Mars, the surface seems to be covered in white sheets. There’s a friendly pink lifeform that smells curiously of cat nip, let me get closer.
journal entry 2 [dictated]: Huge mistake, please send for help!
